We don't concern ourselves with the personal habits of these artists. Our only interests are; where they are from, where did they get they get their musical inspiration, who helped them or who they might have helped, along their Music Journey.
Regardless of the Genre of Music, Oklahoman's played and continue too play a pivotal role in carrying on the style of Music they love, choose to play and perform, here and all over the world.
For years I thought I was knowledgeable in Oklahoma Music. I thought I was aware of most of the Oklahoma Music Makers that Write, Sing and Play the songs that I have enjoyed and that have played a large part of my life and our Oklahoma Music Heritage.
It only took one guided tour of the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame in Muskogee, Oklahoma to quickly learn, just how much I didn't know and
Just how much I had to learn.
Our Mission is a Musical Journey of Discovery
To re-acquaint us with those Oklahoma Music Makers we know and who are loved by many. To Discover those we weren't aware.. To try and understand their musical inspirations and the impact these Oklahoma Artists made upon, Our World of Music.
Also if possible, to gain a better understanding of how this Musical Phenomenon, of so many Musically gifted artists, happened, and continues today, in our State of Oklahoma. The 46th State admitted into the Union.
